GCA to attend anniversary Four Oaks Trade Show

The Garden Centre Association will be exhibiting at Four Oaks Trade Show next month and will be available to meet current and potential new members.

The show, which will be a belated celebration of its 50th anniversary, takes place on Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7 at Farm Lane in Cheshire.

Tammy Woodhouse, Chairman of the GCA, said: “We’re thrilled to be attending this year’s Four Oaks Trade Show on stand E188. Not only is it a great opportunity for garden centre staff to find out the latest horticultural news and see the newest products on offer, it is also a chance to catch up with other GCA members.

“We are also looking forward to chatting to anyone who would like to find out more about the association and will have a few copies of ‘Best of British Garden Centres’ magazines and GCA Directories 2021-22 available.”

The Four Oaks Trade Show is an international exhibition covering the whole of commercial ornamental horticulture. The event takes place on a 23-acre nursery site in Cheshire, close to the Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope, covering an area of 13,000m² under glass with additional outdoor areas.

Four Oaks 2022 will be a belated celebration of the 50th anniversary of the trade show and held in honour of the late Pat Coutts.

Displays of plant material form the heart of the show, with young plant producers using the platform to launch the next season’s lines. Mature stock and specimen plants from across Europe create showcase displays. Machinery, growing media, sundries, retail products, Christmas ware, services can be found at Four Oaks.
