New June record for growing media

Despite the cooler wetter weather and continued Social Distancing measures, growing media sales for the first week of June 2020 set a new June volumes sold per week record.  Volumes of the GTN Bestsellers Growing Media Top 50 were 49% higher than the previous June week record set in 2016.

  • Westland Multi Purpose with John Innes 60 litres moves up 14 places to No 1.
  • Evergreen Garden Care Miracle-Gro Peat Free All Purpose 40 litres re-enters the chart to make it five peat free compost lines in the Top 50 Bestsellers.
  • Bloomin Amazing Soil Enricher 70 litres, another recycled growing media product climbed 14 places to No 15.
