The volume of the Top 50 plant genera and groupings for the whole of 2019 dropped by 3% on 2018. So, after the tipsy turvy year of 2018 a year that was more “normal” weather wise resulted in fewer plant sales.
The Top 3 plants for the year were Zonal Geraniums, Primula and Cyclamen.
Begonias moved in the popularity stakes to be the 6th most bought plant of the year.
The biggest increase of the year was seen from Heucheras.
