This was a bumper year for the New Plant Awards across all the categories and 129 new plants have now been added to the Joy of Plants Library.

There are some stunning new plants and with stiff competition, many garden worthy plants didn't rank in the awards. That's not to say, they don't deserve a place on retailers' shelves in the coming years.
