Gardman reports 36% growth in wild bird care products

Sales of Gardman wild bird care products have enjoyed growth of 36% since the launch of last year's catalogue featuring '4 Big Ideas' designed to change the market.

"Following the launch of our 2016 Wild Bird Care Catalogue, we identified “4 Big Ideas” that we believed would deliver significant change and growth... and they are," said Gardman CEO Peter Utting.

"It’s now eight months on since this launch and I’m delighted to report that we’re seeing an outstanding growth of 36%; which equates to £16 million of additional retail sales*.

"From having a better understanding of category dynamics and consumer needs, we’ve been able to tackle seasonal sales dips, target untapped younger markets, overcome barriers to feeding and tap into decorative lifestyle trends.

"With our 2016 plans delivering such outstanding results, we have taken the learnings to build an exciting strategy for next year... watch this space for our grand unveiling in June 2017."
