October heads for record sales month

Tulips, Pansies and Christmas were the drivers of sales last week, resulting in total sales volumes being up 8% on the same week last year. With half term and Halloween footfall drivers still to come, October could post record sales and close the gap on last year’s total sales which now sit at minus 2.4%.

Two Tulip varieties were new entries in our GTN Top 20 Products chart, sales of Pansies outstripped Cyclamen for the first time and a 23% increase in Christmas sales are the highlights from analysis of EPOS data supplied every week to GTN Bestsellers.
