Squire’s Garden Centres took part in a 12-hour 'Plantathon' on Garden Re-Leaf Day to raise money for Greenfingers, a charity who create magical gardens for children in hospices to enjoy.
A team from Squire’s planted up spring pots at their newly re-opened garden centre in Woking.
Celebrity gardener Charlie Dimmock joined in the fun too at Squire’s last weekend by planting up pots to raise money for the charity.
Customers can buy the planted spring containers at Squire’s in Woking for £6.99 each, or two pots for £12, with all the proceeds going to Greenfingers.
Sarah Squire, deputy chairman at Squire’s commented: “The Plantathon was a really fun day. It started early at 7am and our team worked until 7pm planting up beautiful pots, each containing Narcissi in the centre and four colourful Polyanthus around the outside.
"I encourage people to come to Squire’s in Woking and buy one of these pots, which would brighten up any patio or front garden. All proceeds will be donated to Greenfingers, which will help them create amazing gardens at children’s hospices throughout the country.”
