The Old Railway Line Garden Centre has announced that its annual Spooky Halloween Walk raised an impressive £1,005 for this year’s two chosen charities: #BeMoreFrank, a special fund of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, and the Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Trust.
This year’s Halloween Walk, which ran throughout October, attracted families from the local community, providing a fun, spine-chilling experience while raising awareness and funds for these vital charities. All proceeds will go directly to supporting groundbreaking research and supporting families affected by childhood cancer.
Matthew Lewis, Retail and Events Manager at the Old Railway Line Garden Centre, expressed his gratitude to the community: "We're overjoyed by the incredible generosity of our visitors. It’s truly inspiring to see so many people come together to support these amazing charities, and we're grateful to everyone who contributed. Every donation brings us closer to better outcomes for children and families impacted by cancer."
The Spooky Halloween Walk has become a beloved annual event in the area, offering a family-friendly Halloween experience while giving back to those in need. The Garden Centre thanks all visitors who made this year’s Halloween Walk a memorable success.
As the Garden Centre moves into the festive season, visitors can look forward to exploring this year’s impressive Christmas displays, which have been specially designed to spread festive cheer and celebrate the magic of Christmas. With a wide range of beautiful decorations, lights, and festive gifts, the displays promise to delight guests of all ages.
