Haskins Snowhill raises more than £2,700 for Alzheimer's Society
The team at Haskins in Snowhill presented Alzheimer’s Society with a cheque for £2,715.33 this week. All money raised from events held at the Snowhill centre throughout 2018 and collected from Haskins’ ‘Wishing Well’ was donated to the charity.
Alzheimer’s Society was the garden centre’s nominated ‘Charity of the Year’ in 2018 and the centre has chosen to continue its support for the charity throughout 2019 as well. The charity is the UK’s leading dementia support and research charity, relying on the generosity and support of organisations like Haskins in order to continue its vital work to lead the fight against dementia.
