Plant sales, driven by young veg plants, are performing really well against last year but let’s not get carried away, year to date we are now only 3% up on 2017 sales levels and the first three weeks of March are 24% down on 2017.
- Young Tomato plant sales doubled week on week to move up to be the second bestselling plant of the week, outselling everything else apart from Primulas.
- Petunias also doubled in sales to move up to No 6 in the GTN Plants Chart.
