Bar-Be-Quick appointed to distribute Carbon Gold
Bar-Be-Quick, a leading distributor of sustainable charcoal products, has been appointed as UK distributor of the Carbon Gold GroChar garden products range.

Carbon Gold’s GroChar products are packed with a unique complex of biochar (horticultural charcoal) plus mycorrhizal fungi, wormcasts and seaweed, to improve soil structure, enhance nutrient retention and boost plant growth.  The biochar is from Forestry Stewardship Council sources and the products are approved by the Soil Association for use by organic producers.

Available to supermarkets, DIY retailers and wholesalers, the four-strong range includes GroChar Fertiliser, Soil Improver, and high performance Seed and All-Purpose Composts.

Caroline Hoare, national account manager at Bar-Be-Quick, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Carbon Gold to distribute its GroChar range to the retail sector.

"We believe the partnership will go from strength-to-strength and are looking forward to what 2013 will bring for this superb, all- natural range.”

Carbon Gold founder and Executive Chairman, Craig Sams, who has founded a number of ethical businesses including Green & Blacks chocolate, said: “Bar-Be-Quick is a natural fit with Carbon Gold as pioneers of sustainable and ethical charcoal products.

"By taking advantage of Bar-Be-Quick’s unrivalled distribution network we hope this partnership will bring our GroChar® product range to a wider audience through broader sales channels.”
