The Young People in Horticulture Association are delighted to announce the formalisation of their relationship with the Royal Horticultural Society, who have signed up as a YPHA Key Partner for 2023-2024.

The RHS have consistently proven themselves a loyal ally to YPHA, not least with their hosting of the very first YPHA face-to-face meetup at Wisley back in February 2022. Since then, collaborations have continued abundantly, with both organisations proving well poised to support the other through their next stage of horticultural evolution.

RHS Head of Horticultural Relations, Chris Moncrieff, expressed his excitement for the partnership: ‘a shared path of joint opportunities, aspirations, and no small amount of passion in seeking to strengthen our industry, is firmly embedded in this amazing opportunity. We believe that this partnership will provide the perfect situation for both organisations to work towards an exciting future.’

YPHA Co-Founder, Natalie Porter added that ‘So many of our core beliefs, and our aims for YPHA align seamlessly with those of the RHS, making it a logical and empowering next step for us to work together in a more official capacity. We are very excited to see how we can use this partnership as a catalyst for progress for wider horticulture!’

The addition of the RHS brings YPHA Key Partnerships to a total of five, with ICL, Floramedia, The Greener Gardening Company and Boningale making up the other four. With The Greener Gardening Company sadly set to close, discussions are in the final stages to secure a replacement Key Partner.

Ten YPHA ‘Supporter’ positions will also be open to applications until Monday 8th November, with existing supporters taking first refusal. Anybody who would be interested in hearing more about YPHA sponsorship opportunities should contact admin@ypha.org.uk in the first instance.
