Growing media sales slow down but bark is still popular
There has been a slow down in growing media sales compared to last week, but volumes are still higher than the corresponding period in 2012 (up 6.9%) and 2011 (up 25%).
Notable performances this week are:
Scotts Miracle-Gro Eco Sense Bulb Compost (20 litres) re-enters the chart after 100% increase.
Westland Bed and Border Chipped Bark (70 litres) is the highest re-entry.
Gem Cambark Chunky Chip Bark (70 litres) is another returning product.
Arthur Bowers Clavering Horse Manure (50 litres) is the highest new entry.
