SBM Life Science becomes platinum partner of Greenfingers

SBM Life Science has become an official platinum partner of the national horticulture charity Greenfingers, pledging its support to the organisation that creates magical gardens for children in hospices.

The partnership will see SBM Life Science, which produces some of Britain’s most-loved gardening brands including Baby Bio®, Phostrogen®, Toprose®, Maxicrop®, Provanto® and Protect Garden®, offer ongoing sponsorship and fundraising support to help Greenfingers on its mission to provide crucial care to thousands of families with seriously ill children.

Having completed almost 70 gardens in children’s hospices across the UK to date, Greenfingers has plans to deliver a number of new garden projects in 2023 that will allow life-limited children to spend quality time outside with their families and friends in a safe and enriching environment, as well as providing a special space for reflection and remembering.

Fundraising efforts will begin next week with Greenfingers’ annual flagship fundraiser, Garden Re-Leaf Day, which will see SBM Life Science proudly support the South Walk on Friday 24 March 2023.

The SBM team will lace up their walking boots to join the route around Tring to help vital funds for the charity, while taking in views of the picturesque Chilterns “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.”

In addition to becoming a platinum partner, SBM’s Sales Director, Scott Williams, and Senior National Account Manager, Lowri Walker, will become official Ambassadors of the charity, offering ongoing efforts to help raise awareness and fundraise for Greenfingers throughout the year.

Scott Williams commented: “We are delighted to join forces with Greenfingers, a charity that provides invaluable support to the families across the country. We’re very much looking forward to supporting them over the coming months, kicking things off with the Garden Re-Leaf Day South Walk on Friday. I’m also incredibly proud to become an Ambassador for the charity itself, a role which I consider to be a real honour.”

Linda Petrons, Fundraising and Communications Director for Greenfingers, added: “I am thrilled to welcome SBM and its well-known heritage brands as a partner of our wonderful charity. Together, we will continue to make a real difference to the lives of children and their families when they need it most.”
