Change in Tillington chairmanship

The Tillington Group has announced that Caroline Owen, from Scotsdale Nursery and Garden Centres, will be stepping down as Tillington chairman from January 1st 2025 and that James Evans, from Ruxley Manor Garden Centre, will be taking over.

Caroline has been in the post for the past two years, whilst James has been her Vice-Chairman and with James stepping up to become Chairman, the group has announced that Ed Webb will now become his deputy.

Caroline said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two years, chairing the group. We have seen a number of changes, with a couple of members moving on but that has created the opportunity for new members to join and to give us some fresh impetus! I now hand over to James who I know is excited to continue to take the group forward.”

James commented:”I look forward to continuing the great job that Caroline has done over the last two years, and I have thoroughly enjoyed working closely with her. With Ed Webb coming in as Vice Chair, we look forward to continuing to challenge how we operate as a group and navigating the inevitable trials and opportunities ahead.”

The Tillington Group comprises of Altons, Bents, Gates, Hayes, Otter, Ruxley Manor, Scotsdales, Squires, Webbs, Whitehall and the YGC Group.
