Plant sales rise by 47% on the previous week
 
Three quarters of the plant genus featuring in the GTN Bestsellers Garden Centre Plant Sales chart increased sales last week, driving total plant sales up 47% on the previous week. 
  • Primula – primroses – are clearly the most popular plant to buy as we move towards spring, up 53% to sell over 60% more than Cyclamen.
  • Oriental Poppy sales drove Papaver back in at No 7 to be the highest re-entry.
  • Heather sales performed well, climbing 20 places up to No 16.
