Veg-2-Gro sales saw good week on week growth, up by 10%, as young veg plants came into centres for the first time this year.
The fact that sales are up by 30% so far this year is a great indicator of people’s desire to grow their own during this year of economic uncertainty.
Highlights of the week were:
Onion sets continue at the top of the chart with Centurion F1 proving to be the most popular last week, just ahead of Red Baron.
Rosemary Officinalis, from Retail Solutions in Holland, were the highest new entry of the week.
Young Carrot Chantenay plants, a pack of 12, were also a new entry at No 21.
