Joint Administrators appointed at BHGS to seek rescue solution
Evesham-headquartered supplier and distributor of horticultural products BHGS Limited, has appointed administrators from BTG, the financial and real estate advisory group, to conduct a review of the business and find the best route forward for creditors.
Directors of BHGS Limited, which was incorporated in 2001 and has sites in Evesham, Hayle and Chichester, appointed Mark Malone and Gareth Prince, Partners at BTG, as Joint Administrators of the business on 22 September 2026.
The business is continuing to trade as the administrators review operations and assess the various options still available for the business.
Mark Malone, Partner at BTG, said: “After exploring various options to find the best route forward for the business, the directors of BHGS have been left with no choice but to make the difficult decision to file for administration. This decision followed a period of trading losses and mounting cashflow pressures. This is a very challenging time for the business, and everyone concerned would like to see a positive conclusion, if possible.
"We are currently conducting a thorough review of the business and its operations to determine the best route forward as part of our duties as administrators. The business is continuing to trade for now and we would invite any potentially interested parties to make contact as soon as possible."
