Plant sales up as primulas lead the way

 

Plant sales for the first 5 weeks of the year were up by 23% on last year with primulas leading the way, up 25% on 2019 volumes.

  • Pre-planted Tulips were the biggest mover up the GTN Chart last week, up from No 27 to No 7.
  • Narcissus in the green outsold Cyclamen to move up one place to be the second most popular plant of the week.
  • Tillandsia air plants re-entered the Top 50 at No 26.
