These plants match retail colour trends says nursery
Wyevale Nurseries has put together a selection of new plants to follow predicted trends for the retail sector next year.
The nursery says bold colours look set to be key for 2019, so it’s new plants for retailers in 2019 include the colourful Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’, Cordyline ‘Electric Pink’ and Penstemon ‘Purple Perfection’.
Production manager Kyle Ross said the plants showcase some of the boldest and brightest on the nursery. “These are just a handful of our new crops for 2019, as we have a large range available right from the start of the year through to early autumn.
“Ones we think will be particularly popular are Agapanthus ‘Firework’ and the Ever Series, Cordyline Electric Series, Raspberry ‘Yummy’, Geum ‘Pink Petticoats’ and Penstemon ‘Purple Perfection’.” (see Gallery below)
