Garden product sales come out of hibernation

Garden lighting, mini cutters and potting on lines were the biggest beneficiaries in sales terms as customers came out again and shopped in garden centres.

While growing from seeds under cover is still occupying gardeners’ time, as we come out of the short enforced hibernation, thoughts of pruning ready for the new growth are driving sales.

Also more decorative lighting lines are being snapped up.

Highlights of the week were:

  • Burgon & Ball’s Micro Secateurs are new entries at the top end of the GTN Chart this week.
  • Gripsnipz Mini Cutting Tool, Pink, is also a re-entry at No 9.
  • Gardman’s Nickel Solar Marker Light moves up to No 1.
