Another record-breaking start for Darlac

Garden tools and accessories company Darlac has reported another record-breaking start to its financial year, with trade sales up by 49% in the first five months of trading.
They now supplying garden tools and accessories to an increasing number of independent garden centres and dealers, the latest including Haynes of Challow, Millhill Tools and Burgess & Randall. “Although Darlac has been trading for 50 years, its only in the last few years that the trade side of business has really started to come into its own,” says managing director Peter Darban (left). “Glee this year was an excellent show once again and testament to that success, with a whole host of new products and customers added.” New products include an ergo pruner, ergo snips, telescopic bypass lopper and the limited edition gold ratchet pruner launched to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. Products added to the Expert Range include a bypass fine pruner, expert left handed pruner and the new topiary shear.
