Garden centres should be looking at grow bags, manure and even traditional peat products for good areas of growth over the coming weeks as customers start to buy in earnest.
Scotts promotions are working well with big week-on-week increases. Miracle-Gro All Purpose Compost 56 litres had a 100% sales rise, taking it up 16 places to No 28.
The highest climber, however, is Shamrock Multi-purpose Compost 50 litres, moving 20 places to No 21.
