Alexander Rose's design competition to be judged by Diarmuid Gavin

Diarmuid Gavin has agreed to be one of the judges for the UK Student Design competition run by Alexander Rose.

The aim of the competition is to provide UK students on graduate and post-graduate Furniture and Product Design courses with a real life opportunity to design either a furniture set or individual piece of outdoor furniture. The winning project will be manufactured in the Alexander Rose factory in The Philippines, and exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show in May.

"The Alexander Rose UK Student Design competition will provide students with substantial work experience and the opportunity to see their design put into production," said Diarmuid.

Full details of the competition will be available on the Alexander Rose website – www.alexander-rose.co.uk/studentcompetition
