During all of the expert visits to meet Garden Centres for GTN's The Greatest Awards ON TOUR 2015, we asked about the training initiatives they had been involved with this year across all parts of the garden retailing spectrum including catering.

From all the feedback, three training initiatives shone through as being of great benefit to the garden centre teams.  GCA Grow is being used more and more, Ian Boardman’s Love the Plot You’ve Got training is delivering tangible results as seen in the Love The Plot You've Got Award.

Guy Moreton from MorePeople, sponsors of The Greatest Training Initiative Award, joined HTA CEO Carol Paris and GTN MD Trevor Pfeiffer to present the Gold Award to the training Initiative that was rated most highly this year: Rising Stars run by the GCA and Westland.  The award was collected by Keith Nicholson, Westland Marketing Director.
