GIMA signs up eight new members including Zest4Leisure, Greenhouse Sensation, WCF Ltd and FCL Global Forwarding

GIMA, the garden industry trade association who brought the unique Innovators Zone and the Buyer Connect concepts to Glee, has seen eight new members join its ranks in recent weeks...

The new members are:

  • Zest4Leisure, manufacturers of timber fencing, trellis and other products for the garden
  • Greenhouse Sensation, who have an innovative range of propagation products and an ever extending range of other products to help gardeners achieve success
  • WCF Ltd,  who are leading packaging and supply chain managers, specialising in seed potatoes, plants and bulbs
  • FCL Global Forwarding, a multi-modal logistics provider specialising in moving products for customers by sea, air, road or rail
  • Textice Ltd, suppliers of some innovative plant support products including spirals and pot hangers.Textice also have the unique BIG moss product that is proving popular with many garden retailers and gardeners
  • Kontrol UK Ltd, who sell humidity control products to the DIY and garden retailers along with a range of air care and pest control products, including the Waspinator which GIMA helped bring to the market place with David Domoney
  • Popadome, who launched at the Glee Innovators Zone in 2013 and have recorded some successful sales with Dobbies Garden Centres amongst other contacts made at the show with their unique Fruit and Vegetable protection system
  • Woodstream Europe Ltd, who have a 150-year heritage of manufacturing and supplying under well known brand names products as varied as pest control, bird foods and garden décor products.

GIMA Director Neil Gow says these companies recognise the value of membership of the association and the benefits it can bring to their business in a variety of ways.

He continued: "FCL Global Forwarding is perhaps the most exciting for our existing members. It just underlines the diverse way GIMA seeks to help its members.

"FCL Global Forwarding is a multi-modal logistics provider specialising in moving products for customers by sea, air, road or rail.

"By combining some competitive pricing and a personalised service, they offer a truly unique proposition. I feel members have the opportunity to get a better price and a better service than they perhaps get from their current shipping company.”

Full details of these members, all the GIMA member companies and their services are available on the GIMA website – www.gima.org.uk or by contacting neilgow@gima.org.uk
