Andy McIndoe appointed new Trustee at Greenfingers
Greenfingers is delighted to welcome Andy McIndoe to the Board, as new Trustee at Greenfingers – the nationwide charity dedicated to creating inspiring outdoor spaces for children in hospices around the country. Andy brings with him over 35 years’ experience in retail and production horticulture and is a regular contributor to a number of magazines, newspapers and BBC Radio. As well as lecturing to gardening groups and societies at home and abroad, he also leads numerous gardening tours, and is planning to open his own garden in the summer to raise money for the charity. Andy McIndoe commented on his new role saying: “I am thrilled to have been invited to join the Greenfingers team and am very much looking forward to getting involved with their garden projects.” John Ashley, Greenfingers Chairman, added: “It’s great to have Andy on board and with his gardening talent, drive and commitment he will be a tremendous asset to Greenfingers.”
