Bowland Stone appoints Business Development Manager

Bowland Stone has appointed Nick James as business development manager. Nick previously worked in sales and branch management in the paper industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Nick said: “The garden sector is a new and exciting challenge, but one I am relishing.  It is perfect timing for both me and the company to be heading up business development just as the garden trade prepares for the 2015 season. I am also delighted to be working for a family company which combines traditional service values with exciting product development.”

Bowland Stone’s Managing Director, Ian Elston added: “We have some fantastic new products coming up for next season and I’m delighted that Nick has joined us in this new role to spearhead new accounts in the coming year.”

Bowland Stone was created 20 years ago as an alliance of three concrete manufacturing companies dedicated to updating products, designs and colours on a continual basis. It supplies national and international markets via garden centres, builders merchants, landscapers and installers.
