Plenty of variety in veg sales

Although seed potatoes continued to dominate the top of the GTN Bestsellers Veg-2-Gro chart for the week ending August 10, there was plenty of variety elsewhere in the Top 50.

  • Quantil had both the highest re-entry in Spinach and the highest new entry in Turnip.
  • Suttons recorded the highest climber, with Cabbage April jumping 16 places in the chart.
  • Suttons also had new entries in Cauliflower All The Year Round, Cabbage Sarmarsh, and Large Leaved Corn Salad.

For the week ending August 17, Suttons Broad Bean The Sutton (Dwarf) proved to be a popular variety while Quantil Purple Sprouting Broccoli headed the Top 50.
