Even after all the weeks of high plant sales throughout spring, sales last week were not far short of the levels in 2018 when there was a very late summer.
It could be that if we keep stock levels up again this summer we’ll have another long and fruitful plant sales period before autumn planting takes over.
Highlights of the week were:
Osteospermum were the only plant group to increase sales in the GTN Top 10.
Lillium were the highest re-entry at No 17.
Yew hedging, Taxus, saw a boost in sales to re-enter at No 30.
