Growing Media sales volumes have been boosted this week with gardeners buying their compost for the seed sowing season. The highest climber in the Bestsellers chart is Arthur Bowers John Innes Seed (10 litres), moving up 33, just behind Westland John Innes Seed (30 litres).

Westland Gro-Sure Vegetable Compost (50 litres) is the highest Top 50 re-entry this week.

Some of the best sales volume increases recorded this week are the following:

• Vital Earth RSPB Multipurpose Compost (50 litres) is the highest new entry.
• Scotts Miracle-Gro Azalea, Camelia & Rhododendron Compost (50 litres) is also a new entry.
• Scotts Levington Original Gro-bag returns after 100% increase in sales.
• Westland Bed and Border Chipped Bark (70 litres).
