Plant sales thrived during the second half of the Easter fortnight. That gets us to 15% up year to date but meant April missed last year’s plant sales volumes by 2%.
Highlights were:
Dahlia sales increased by over 130% to re-enter the chart at No 25.
Cosmos looks as though it could be very popular again this year. Last week it re-entered at No 41.
Pelargonium, including Zonal Geraniums, stayed at No 1 for the second week, holding off another week of increased sales for Tomato plants.
