Step in from the cold with SnowTime’s new range of Battery Operated LED Lights
SnowTime, the market-leader in Christmas lighting, has extended its collection of best-selling lights with a range of battery operated LEDs.
Although there are battery-operated lights on the market currently, the life expectancy is typically a maximum of 30 days before the batteries must be replaced.
Utilising new technology, SnowTime’s sets of 300 LEDs have been laboratory tested and certified to last a minimum of 45 days on four AA batteries – smaller sets will last much longer.
The new collection features light strings, icicle lights, candle lights and net lights. The battery case is IP 44 rated and the lights can be used both inside and out. Each set is fitted with an ingenious timer that switches the lights on every day for 6 hours, then turns them off for 18 hours before lighting up again at the same time the following day.
Sara Murray, Trans-Continental Group’s Buyer believes that the battery operated lights will complement SnowTime’s existing product range and prove to be a successful new addition.
“We’ve listened to our customers who continue to search for new, cost effective products that offer convenience and versatility without compromising design or functionality.
"Battery lights remove the hassle factor, especially outdoors, where the cable for traditional lights must be run to the nearest power source.
"They also remove any safety concerns about power cables outdoors. The new range of LED battery operated lights will be available in a choice of multi-colour, warm white and ice white.
”SnowTime is well known in the industry for its innovative and eye-catching packaging. The new range of battery lights will be no exception and designs for retail display units, point of sale and marketing promotional material will be launched at the Harrogate Christmas and Gift Fair and again at Spring Fair Birmingham.
