Green-fingered youngsters from a Bromsgrove school have been gaining some inspiration from their local Little Heath Garden Centre.

Pupils from Parkside Middle School are designing a garden to enter in the Malvern Spring Gardening Show, being held next May.

Youngsters visited Little Heath Garden Centre as part of their research on what their garden should feature.

Staff at the centre showed the youngsters a variety of plants, and answered their questions on what would look best in the garden.

The pupils also had the chance to see four reindeer, which are staying at the Lickey End-based centre during the festive period.
