The Old Railway Line Garden Centre has launched of its first-ever Christmas children’s book, The Magic of a Christmas Gift, written by team member Matt Lewis.
Featuring enchanting illustrations by Amy Willis, this magical tale celebrates kindness, friendship, and the joy of giving qualities that perfectly capture the true spirit of Christmas.
The Magic of a Christmas Gift follows a heart-warming story that reminds readers, young and old, that even the smallest acts of kindness can inspire grand dreams and unexpected miracles. The characters in the story are inspired by some of the youngest members of the Old Railway Line family, making this release a truly personal and emotive.
The garden centre is donating all profits from book sales to two remarkable charities:
- Be More Frank: A special fund of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, Be More Frank supports families affected by childhood cancer in Herefordshire, Powys, and surrounding areas. The fund honours Frank, a young boy who tragically lost his battle with a rare bone cancer at age 13.
- Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Trust: Partnering with the Bone Cancer Research Trust, this fund is dedicated to Eif’s Ewing Sarcoma Research Fund, in memory of Eif. Proceeds from the book will contribute directly to research, information, awareness, and support for families affected by primary bone cancer.
