Cyclamen sales reach record high
Cyclamen sales, as recorded in the GTN Bestsellers EPOS data, reached a record high last week.
Sales were 28% up on the last week of September and 7% up on last year’s peak sales week, which was also the first week of October.
Highlights were:
- Dianthus sales increased by over 200% to move them up 7 places to be the fifth bestseller.
- Bellis saes also shone through. Up by 92% to jump 23 places in the chart.
- Ligustrum were the highest re-entry for the week, back in at No 37.
- All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 8.1%. Year to date UP 8.4% on 2017
