Heidi Towse and Tara Adams Take Over the Park Run for Greenfingers Charity

Heidi Towse and Tara Adams brought a burst of energy to Linford Wood in Milton Keynes on Saturday as they took over the Park Run to raise funds and awareness for their upcoming Kilimanjaro trek, supporting the new Greenfingers garden at Naomi House & Jacksplace.

The pair cheered on runners, handed out high-fives and shared their passion for creating beautiful, accessible outdoor spaces for children and families at the hospice. Their aim was to inspire the local community while raising funds for this life-changing project.

“Climbing Kilimanjaro is a huge challenge but knowing we’re helping bring nature and joy to children at the hospice makes every step worth it.  It was wonderful to see the Park Run community come together to support Greenfingers, we couldn’t have asked for a better morning!”

The takeover was a lively celebration of community, fitness and giving back, with participants encouraged to donate to Heidi and Tara’s trek. Every pound raised brings the new garden at Naomi House & Jacksplace closer to reality, a place where children and families can enjoy the healing power of nature for years to come.
