The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) has extended the deadline for entries to the AIPH International Grower of the Year (IGOTY) Awards 2027, giving ornamental production businesses around the world until Sunday 27 September 2026 to showcase their achievements and gain international recognition.
For more than 15 years, the IGOTY Awards have celebrated the businesses setting the benchmark for the global industry. Previous winners and finalists have ranged from long-established family nurseries to internationally recognised producers, all sharing a commitment to continuous improvement, quality production, and responsible business practices.
Tim Briercliffe, Secretary General of AIPH, said: "Every grower has a story worth telling. Whether it's investing in people, embracing new technology, improving sustainability, or building a resilient business, the International Grower of the Year Awards recognise the commitment and innovation that drive our industry forward."
An IGOTY Award offers more than international recognition. Finalists and winners benefit from global promotion through AIPH, FloraCulture International, and supporting media partners, helping to strengthen their reputation with customers, suppliers, retailers, and industry peers.
"Entering the Awards is an opportunity to step back and recognise everything your business has achieved,” Briercliffe added. “Every nursery has its own journey, and the judging process looks beyond commercial success to the innovation, sustainability, and people that make each business exceptional. We encourage growers who may have been considering an entry to make the most of this additional time."
The Awards recognise excellence across three production categories:
- Finished Plants & Trees
- Young Plants
- Cut Flowers & Bulbs
Entrants may also choose to be considered for the Sustainability Award, while one overall winner will receive the prestigious Gold Rose, awarded to the AIPH International Grower of the Year 2027.
Entries for the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards 2027 will now close on Sunday 27 September 2026.
Following submission, entries will be assessed by an international panel of industry experts against five key criteria:
- Economic performance
- Innovation
- Market orientation
- Environmental standards
- Human resource policy
Growers can find full details of the Awards, eligibility requirements, and the online entry form on the AIPH Website.
