Roots to Retail event launches the 2025 season

Frank P Matthews, New Leaf Plants and The Branford Webbs Plant Company welcomed customers from as far away as North Scotland and Kent to their ‘Roots to Retail’ open event last week at Evesham Football Club and New Leaf Plants.

The two-day event included an entertaining Plantarea Masterclass by Guest Speaker, Boyd Douglas – Davies along with talks from Frank P Matthews on ‘Maximising Tree Sales’ and ‘Myth Busting Peat Free’, from The Bransford Webbs Plant Company. The HTA also launched their exciting Plant Retail Success Program at the event.

The morning talks were followed by an inspiring visit to New Leaf Plants Production Facility and a mini trolley fair, allowing on the day orders to be made.

“It was wonderful to welcome so many customers to this year’s event”, commented David Chilvers, Sales and Marketing Director, The Bransford Webbs Plant Company. “The level of interaction between nurseries and garden centres was really encouraging as the retailers begin to gear up for the season ahead”.
