Planners throw out Fresh@Burcot housing application
Planners have turned down plans for housing on the site of Fresh at Burcot garden centre, which would have meant the centre’s closure.
The centre is owned by Neil Gow, a former director of GIMA, and his wife Nicky.
Bromsgrove planning committee refused an application by a developer to build 11 houses there, despite a recommendation from planning officers that the plan should be approved.
The committee rejected the proposals on the grounds that they did not offer a suitable mix of affordable housing.
