A local wine merchant and traditional family butchers have signed up for the Food Hall at Bents Garden & Home at Glazebury.

Reserve Wines and Honeytwell’s will be core elements in the new 30,000 sq ft hall, due to open fully early next year. In the meantime, Bents will operate a ‘pop up’ style food venue over the Christmas period which will feature both new signings.

Didsbury based Reserve Wines is owned and run by Kate Goodman, who features on BBC’s Food & Drink show.

Honeywell’s is a family owned butchers based in Preston, now run by brothers John and Anthony Gornall. Their new butchery at Bents will feature a traditional preparation and butchers area with glass fronted cold rooms.

MD Matthew Bent says both businsses share Bents’ values and set exceptional standards for their customers.

The extended food hall will eventually offer fresh quality fruit and vegetables, a range of deli counters, fresh bakery and a wine and tapas bar, plus a demo area for cookery workshops.
