More than 20 new plants chosen for their significant added value compared to existing products will be on display at Groen-Direkt’s upcoming Autumn Fair (21-23 August).

Organisers say all are available in sufficient numbers for a successful market launch. Visitors will be invited to vote for their favourite, with the winner announced on 23 August.

Among them are:

• Acanthus ‘White Water’ (pictured left), a hardy perennial. With hand-shaped leaves, white in the spring, becoming spotted, with flower spikes of white/pink.

Vaccinium angustifolium 'Berrybux' (pictured right), a compact blueberry that looks similar to box but with delicious berries.
