RHS endorses Tapestry, a new Ca’ Pietra porcelain paving design

The Royal Horticultural Society has announced its endorsement of Tapestry, a new porcelain paving design from Ca’ Pietra, its licensee for outdoor paving.

Placing pattern at the heart of the garden, Tapestry brings a softly timeworn decorative quality to outside areas, with faded motifs and gentle tonal variation that create a sense of depth that feels at ease in the landscape rather than imposed upon it.

It is available in two styles: Arabic and Geometric. The Arabic design carries a more fluid, ornamental feel, while the Geometric version offers something more structured, with a quieter, ordered pattern that sits comfortably within contemporary settings.

Both styles are designed with outdoor living in mind, with a textured porcelain finish that delivers the grip, durability and ease of maintenance expected of modern paving.

This RHS-endorsed line is now available at Ca’ Pietra’s dedicated showrooms in Devizes in Wiltshire, Chelsea in London, and Hartley Wintney in Hampshire, along with a large number of Ca’ Pietra partner retailers across the UK. The RHS endorsement will be highlighted in marketing, brochures, newsletters and PoS material.

Ca’ Pietra is a leading expert in the world of stone, tiles, and hard landscaping, and, since July 2025, has been endorsed by the RHS for natural stone and porcelain tiles suitable for external use.

This endorsement specifically applies to Ca’ Pietra’s comprehensive range of natural stone and porcelain paving, which has been carefully developed to meet the aesthetic requirements of outdoor spaces, from private gardens and courtyards to commercial landscaping projects.

Ca’ Pietra stone and porcelain paving is, of course, also designed to meet the practical demands of the British climate, while offering designers, landscapers and homeowners a wide choice of materials, formats and finishes.

Although Ca' Pietra is a highly appropriate and evocative Italian term meaning ‘house of stone’, this is a proudly British, family-owned company, with a legacy spanning more than 35 years, boasting a team of designers, makers and curators redefining the art of surface design.

The company combines time-honoured techniques with boundless creativity, sourcing the finest materials from around the world to craft collections and bespoke creations that combine timeless elegance with contemporary flair. Its team members also pride themselves on being approachable experts, offering practical advice and creative inspiration to homeowners, designers, and landscapers alike.

Grazzie Wilson, Head of Creative at Ca’ Pietra, says: “Outdoor spaces are no longer treated as separate, purely practical zones, but as a natural continuation of the home, shaped with the same attention to atmosphere, material and detail. In response to this shift, Tapestry places pattern at the heart of the garden, offering a more expressive way to approach outdoor surfaces. We are thrilled to have received the endorsement of the RHS for this collection.”

Cathy Snow, RHS Licensing Manager, adds: “Ca’ Pietra continues to shape a vision of outdoor living that balances beauty with longevity, and practicality with a more expressive design language. Tapestry is a wonderful addition to that vision and one that we are delighted to endorse.”
