Geofencing – Take Control of Mobile Clocking In and Out
GTN Xtra Promotion – WorkForce Manager

Smartphones have transformed the way businesses manage their workforce. Today's employees expect the convenience of using a mobile phone to clock in and out, while managers benefit from real-time attendance visibility and reduced administration.

But with flexibility comes the need for control.

How can you be sure employees are actually on-site when they start or finish work?

WorkForce Manager solves this challenge with powerful geofencing technology. Businesses can define a location using a grid reference and set a maximum radius in metres within which employees are permitted to clock in or out via the mobile app. If an employee is outside the designated area, sign-in is simply not allowed.

The system supports multiple geofenced locations, making it ideal for Garden Centres with different working areas. For example, retail staff can clock in within the Garden Centre boundary, while warehouse or goods-in teams can start their day from a separate depot location.

For employees whose roles require greater flexibility, such as delivery drivers, area managers, or staff visiting suppliers and customer sites, WorkForce Manager allows authorised users to begin their working day away from a geofenced location.

Attendance visibility doesn't stop there. Managers can instantly see who has and hasn't arrived for their planned shift. Employees who have not clocked in are highlighted in red on dashboards, making potential issues immediately visible. Automated alerts can also be configured to notify management, ensuring no absence or missed shift goes unnoticed.

The result is accurate attendance data, reduced payroll queries, improved workforce accountability, and greater confidence that staff are where they need to be.

Take control of mobile attendance with intelligent geofencing.
