Two Worcestershire nurseries collaborate to host retail focused event
Plant Retailing, a Sustainable Future

Evesham-based New Leaf Plants and Worcester’s Bransford Webbs Plant Company are working together to host a retail focused event at Bransford across two days in February 2023.

The event will take place at Bransford Webbs on 15th & 16th February next year. Each day attendees will hear from experts on how peat reduction in growing media will impact on plant retailing, and how the increased use of biological controls will produce more sustainable plants for the end consumer.

David Higginson Managing Director of New Leaf Plants commented, “We are delighted to be working with the team at Bransford Webbs to deliver this event and are looking forward to a positive and informative day for our customers”.

A key part of the day will be a tour around the nursery at Bransford Webbs where retailers can view up-coming crops and highlight the sustainable business practices adopted at the nursery, from solar panels to rainwater harvesting. As part of the tour, workshops will take place demonstrating best practice for 2023. In this unique collaboration, visitors will get the opportunity to view and order the best topical stock from both nurseries, in a mini trolley fair.

The event will be split between the Bank House Hotel and Bransford Webbs nursery with stock and staff from New Leaf on hand throughout the day.
