Hambrooks relaunch Titchfield site as garden design showcase
|
Landscapers Hambrooks have re-launched their Titchfield site as a design-driven Destination Garden Centre featuring what will almost certainly be the biggest display of show gardens in UK garden retailing. The concept, the brainchild of MD Norman Hambrook, who founded the landscaping business 45 years ago, has involved the creation of 16 display gardens, both indoor and outdoor spaces, designed to inspire consumers. Mr Hambrook says there will be no gifts on sale, only garden-related items – but there is a café bar. He describes the centre as “Hampshire’s very own mini Chelsea”. Head designer is Mike Hodges, whose team is on hand to advise customers on their own aspirations. The centre has installed a new PA system and Garden Radio provided by GTN’s parent company, The Garden Communication & Media Company, taking advantage of the royalty free service that is available to all HTA members as part of the CRoP cost reduction scheme.
