Wilkinson Sword enhances Ultralight Range

The hugely popular Wilkinson Sword Ultralight range is once again expanding, with new products being introduced. As well as this, developments to certain lines have also been unveiled.

The Wilkinson Sword Ultralight range is designed for gardeners seeking tools that deliver professional performance with unparalleled ease of use. These enhancements ensure a more enjoyable, efficient experience, no matter the gardener, from seasoned pros to weekend hobbyists.

Designed to bolster the existing collection with a perfect combination of strength, comfort and lightweight usability, the enhancements ensure that these tools are not only practical and efficient, but also comfortable for extended use, catering to a wide range of gardeners.

Ultralight Snips

The new products begin with the introduction of the Ultralight Snips for precision cutting, deadheading and more delicate garden tasks that require more finesse and accuracy. Weighing just 110 grams, these snips are incredibly lightweight and offer a traditional sprung handle for a responsive feel and a long, precise non-stick coated snipping blade.

Ultralight Bypass Pruners

At just 125 grams, they are designed to be lightweight without compromising on performance and feature a non-stick coated blade for improved cutting efficiency, soft touch grips and a responsive steel spring for a better user experience. These pruners are perfect for gardeners who need a reliable and easy-to-use tool for everyday pruning tasks.

Ultralight Bypass Loppers

The Ultralight Bypass Loppers weigh only 450 grams, have a 25mm cutting capacity and strong profiled handles with soft comfort grips. They feature an SK5 non-stick coated blade for clean, effortless cutting and a shaped cutting head profile that reduces effort, making them ideal for tackling tougher branches with ease and precision, and without the aches, or fatigue associated with traditional heavier tools.

Ultralight Anvil Lopper

The Ultralight Anvil Lopper is another necessity weighing just 550 grams. The lever action reduces cutting effort, so is a great tool for cutting dead, denser wood and branches. These loppers combine ease of use with powerful cutting capability, making them a must-have for any gardener needing to tackle tough, woody plants.

Ultralight 1.5M Branch & Shrub Cutter

The Ultralight 1.5 meter Branch & Shrub Cutter is the ultimate agile tool with two-way cutting options. Constructed from anodised aluminium and high-strength nylon, it features a high-quality SK5 cutting blade. Precise control is ensured through a shaft slider and toggle pull, making this cutter perfect for reaching and trimming difficult branches and shrubs.

Ultralight 2.0M Branch & Shrub Cutter

Working overhead when tackling trees and tall shrubs can be onerous. However, the Ultralight 2.0 meter Branch & Shrub Cutter takes the weight away and can cut branches at heights up to 4 meters and up to 25mm thick. This tool is ideal for trees, tall shrubs or reaching over deep beds. It includes internal cable routing to prevent snagging on branches and offers versatile two-way cutting options, providing gardeners with a practical solution for high and hard-to-reach areas.

To support sales of the extended Ultralight range, new Point of Sale displays have also been launched with two options available. The first is a mid-floor display for the longer branch and shrub cutters, along with a supporting full back wall display solution available to showcase the rest of the Ultralight range in one eye-catching space.
