Have fun on Garden Re-Leaf Day

Organinsers of the 3rd Garden Re-Leaf Day on March 8 are urging all garden centres to take part and have lots of fun too.

"This can be a great team-building exercise," said a Garden Re-Leaf spokesperson.

"Just when everyone is feeling rather weary, getting your outlet or company ready for 'another' amazing spring season. We know that last year it was companies whose staff really got behind the initiative that saw the best results."

The 'feel good factor' played a huge part when:
  • Dressing in silly hats
  • Weeding a local hospice's garden
  • Baking cakes for other staff to buy
  • Helping local schoolchildren create gardens on pallets
  • Organising and participating in the celebrity quiz.

Don’t forget to post on the website exactly what you are doing for Garden Re-Leaf. This is vital if you want the National and Regional Media to pick up on your story at the Garden Media event on 14th February. Don’t miss the boat. AND make sure you tell your local media what you’re up to. They are always hungry for news in their community.
