More speakers confirmed for GIMA Day Conference
The UK’s two largest garden centre chains will address delegates at annual event

Time might be running away too quickly but there is still time to book your place at the GIMA Day Conference, to be held on Tuesday 14th March, 10.00 – 16:00 at The Willows Training Centre, Wyboston Lakes, Bedfordshire.

Attendees can look forward to hearing headline talks from Dobbies CEO Graeme Jenkins and British Garden Centres’ PR Communications and Plant Director, Boyd Douglas Davies & Project and Development ManagerAmy Stubbs. They will be joined by Phil Pond from trends agency, Scarlet Opus, who will offer invaluable insight into 2024 trends to help you get ahead of the curve in this rapidly changing socio-economic climate.

Also confirmed to speak at the event are Jack Sweeny of JDS Strategists, who will be discussing The Power of Insight - tomorrow's only competitive advantage - and Tor Newcombe from specialist recruitment business More People will address challenges in the current labour market and how to recruit and retain staff.

With such an excellent speaker line-up this is sure to be a popular event and those who are interested in attending are encouraged to sign up quickly to secure their place. The cost of the event includes a buffet lunch and refreshments:

  • The rate for GIMA members is £80 + VAT for the first delegate and £40 + VAT for each additional delegate.
  • The non-member rate is £160 + VAT for the first delegate and £80 + VAT for each additional delegate.
