Darlac pruner earns Which? Gardening Best Buy

Darlac have been awarded a BEST BUY for secateurs on test in this month’s Which? Gardening magazine – and another Darlac model scooped second place.

Top spot went to their DP332 Compound Action Pruner with an overall 93% rating, while their DP1033 Expert Bypass Pruner (small) achieved 86% against well known household names.

Darlac Ltd has been steadily growing as a company for many years and has a strong following amongst gardening enthusiasts. Trade sales were up by 49 % in the first five months of trading this year.

Director Peter Darban said the Which? accolade was a testament to years of hard work. “Each year we have to pinch ourselves at how well we have done yet again, whilst we strive to continue to achieve even better and bigger offerings – although never taking anything for granted,” he said.

Darbay says a product launch due in February will be the company’s biggest and best new product to date. “Regrettably that’s all I can say at the moment. I feel sure that, as many garden centres and retail outlets as possible will want to stock this item, we are truly confident that its unique features will ensure high demand with consumers.”
